Damn Heroes

Just a quick plug first, if I may. Issue #2 of The Ascendant is out today on comiXology! We sure would appreciate it if you took a peek. It is going for a mere $0.99, as is The Ascendant #1.

That’s it, short and sweet. Now about today’s strip. Although we do like to do strips with some continuity from one to the next, I really enjoy the one shots too. This one happens to be one of my favorites. It is so simple and yet so very effective, we almost didn’t need to title it (actually, I forgot to at first).

Speaking of continuity, we will be launching the next series of strips in a week or two, once we have fully recovered from a couple back to back conventions (Boston Comic Con and ComiCONN) and have begun to prepare for NYCC.
