Damn Heroes

Live Long and Prosper

We don’t have the words to properly memorialize Leonard Nimoy, but we felt it was important  to do something. I struggled for the right thing to say, but in the end it was best to use his own words. We hope you enjoy this tribute.

If you are in New York City this Saturday, drop by and see us at Big Apple Con. We’ve got a ton of goodies and will even be giving away some of these prints. Now if you’ll excuse me, I have six seasons of In Search Of to watch.

My Star Trek was always TNG growing up, but Leonard Nimoy was always an interesting character to me, as my first exposure to the Original Series was through the films. As such, I grew to appreciate Mr. Nimoy as a director and as the movie version of Spock, who was, in my opinion, a much more spiritual character by that period in the series. In many ways, I like to think of him as the Yoda of Star Trek.

On behalf of myself and my wife, a true Trekkie, we would like to offer our most sincere and deepest thanks for everything Mr. Nimoy has done for us and represented.

And to lighten things up, here’s this. It always makes me smile.
