Damn Heroes

When Alex drew the first Captain Heinous sketch, it always seemed funny to me that he was supposed to be Captain Righteous’ polar opposite but he didn’t have the trademark shorts. Maybe it’s because Captain Heinous wears his boxers inside his pants (hence opposite, assuming he is wearing them at all I suppose). Years later, I finally got around to writing a strip about it.

Most days when I’m working on this webcomic, I remember an inspirational quote from one of my favorite comedians: “Sometimes you have to suffer a little bit in your youth to motivate yourself to succeed later in life.”

I’m no longer a youth though, so when will the suffering end?
